See something, say something, do something
Buckinghamshire Councils' adult safeguarding campaign
The ‘See something, say something, do something’ campaign started in September 2021. Everyone deserves to live happily and safely, free from harm and neglect, no matter their age, gender, disability, or ethnicity. The campaign aims to raise awareness about adult abuse, highlight the different types, the signs to watch for, and what to do if you suspect abuse.
In 2023/24, adult social care received 13,441 safeguarding concerns. Of these, 1,453 (11%) led to a safeguarding inquiry.
One of our key roles as a Council is to protect our residents, but we can’t do it alone. We need your help. Report any concerns about a friend, relative, colleague, or neighbour to us.
