The Grey Matter Group is delighted to achieve the Skills for Care recognition of Centre of Excellence for both online and face-to-face learning, for the fourth year running.

Remote Training Sessions.

The courses are delivered using a range of methods and resources including Live tutor facilitation, interactive polls, questionnaires and drawing tools, scenarios for breakout groups, questioning and participation, and an end of session assessment.

Dealing with Death and Dying.

For people working at all levels within care and support who will form bonds with individuals and can become very attached to those they support.

Moving and Positioning Individuals and Back Care.

For staff who have a responsibility for moving and handling people. It prepares staff to take care of their back both in and out of the workplace. It is based upon the ‘Guide to Handling of Patients 6th edition’.

MCA/DOLS Level 2.

The aims and objectives of this remote Mental Capacity Act 2005 training course are to improve learners’ awareness of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

Level 2 Person Centred Safeguarding.

The aims and objectives of this remote session you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the requirements of the Care Act 2014 in relation to adult safeguarding.
