How can equipment support carers?

Are you helping a family member or friend to get in/out of bed or hand holding to assist someone to get up from their chair?

As a carer, you need to care for yourself and your wellbeing to be able to look after someone else. It is important to know how to safely move the person you look after, to prevent injury to both you and them.

Equipment can help the person you are looking after to be more independent and make your life easier. To find out more, Carers UK have created a list of equipment to help with caring see: Carers UK have created a list of equipment to help with caring.
